Guidelines for the detection of FMUs ¶

Before the FMUs can be classified on an IT basis, the basic operational considerations for management must be made in the forestry operation or planning area. FMUs can only achieve their optimum benefit in planning and management if the forest enterprise knows in advance how the FMUs will be used.
